Objective:  To demonstrate knowledge of the business environment, trends and common business practices in any given country

Your report must include but not limited to:

  • Analysis of regional trends and major business drives and challenges
  • Principal imports and exports
  • Technology/E-business and common business practices
  • Major trading and investment partners
  • Major demographic characteristics
  • Major geographic and physical characteristics
  • Major cultural and socio-cultural characteristics
  • Major economics and financial characteristics
  • Analysis of legal and political characteristics and risks
  • Labor relations and trends
  • Competitive structure; references to particular industry or business sector
  • Major marketing characteristic and attitude towards globalization
  • Business dos and don’ts of the country

Project Report

The report will essential cover all topics in the outline plus an executive summary, introduction (country/region and product) and recommendations.  The report will be typewritten, not more than 10 pages (single spaced) and will have an appendix that contains exhibits. Examples are maps of the country, tables and charts.
