Currency, defined

No, we're not talking about dollars and cents.

                      

In website evaluation, currency is how current (or how old) the site is, and when it was last updated.

 

Ways to determine currency

1. When was the page last updated? If you cannot find this information, it may be that the information is outdated.

2. When was the information originally written? Sometimes, information can be out of date just months after being written (think technology, or politics). Look for the original written by date.
