Cloud Computing

The Information Technology field is still in the early stages of  cloud computing.

Cloud computing is the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product, whereby shared resources, software and information are provided to computers and other devices as a utility (like the electricity grid) over a network (typically the Internet).

This Information Technology assignment will accomplish three things:   (a) have students use the Library WebPage  (School of  Information Technology section) on Blackboard, (b) have students use and evaluate Information Technology websites, and (c) have students research an emerging topic in Information Technology.

Information Literacy Standards covered:

N.J. Information Literacy Standards - Introductory Skills 2 (3) (b):  Retrieves Information - uses multi-disciplinary databases and 2 (4) (a):  Refines search strategies - evaluates search results to determine relevance to topic.
