Introduction to RefWorks Workshop
This hands-on workshop includes the basic features of the citation tool RefWorks. In this workshop, participants will learn how to create an account, learn to export citations from databases, create a manual reference and create a bibliography.
Intellectual Property and Plagiarism Workshop
Is it ethical to use others’ ideas in your research papers? This workshop will empower students to recognize the foundation of intellectual property and understand when and why to cite.
Locating Discipline Specific Journals
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to locate discipline specific journals by using the advance database search features and the JournalFinder tool.
Using Media for Professional Looking Presentations
Are you required to create a presentation this semester? Do you want access to copyright free resources that will make your presentation look professional and copyright compliant? Attend this short hands-on workshop and learn how to access and use the libraries streaming media collection and Image Quest database.
This hands-on workshop will cover more advance features of the citation tool, RefWorks. Participants who attend this workshop will learn how to: utilize the plug-in features(Write & Cite & RefGrabit), learn how to add files and organize folders.
