    RefWorks is a web-based research management, writing and collaboration software package that allows you to:

  • Organize your research

  • Include citations while you write your paper

  • Build a bibliography in a variety of formats

  • Import references from many data sources

  • Create bibliographies in different document formats (Word, RTF, HTML, etc.)

First time users - Create your personal account

  1. Open any browser and go to 

  2. Click the Sign up for a New Account link.

  3. Fill in all boxes. NOTE when creating your Login Name use only alpha/numerical characters.

  1. Click Create Account.

    You will receive an email confirmation for your records.
