TRANSITION OF LEADERSHIP RICKY GRADUATES & SPADE TAKES LEADERSHIP OF SVA SPARTAN VETS CLUB Left: Shay Treasurer, Martin S. (Spade) Asst. Vice President, Ricky President, Ray Workstudy(OMVA) Secretary
In hopes that the Veteran students have a smooth transition into the college campus, Berkeley Spartans have committed to navigate and provide Peer to Peer assistance to the veteran community. The lounge area is a place where Veterans can be transparent and discuss topics, help each other with assignments, have movie night and a place of fellowship, Community service is a key factor to staying motivated as well as implementing a wellness program in order to release stressors and barriers from every day life. The SVA team is very talented, some do vigorous workouts, have a passion for community service or act on stage.
