Welcome from the staff at the Woodland Park Campus Library!

Library History

The Walter A. Brower Library has evolved as Berkeley College has grown and now serves the college in ways never imagined when it was dedicated to Walter A. Brower in 1981.  Dr. Brower served on the Board of Trustees of Berkeley's Woodland Park and Westchester Campuses for many years. In September of 2014, The Walter A. Brower Library moved to a new location in the newly renovated Renaissance Hall. The state-of-the-art library provides flexible, functional, and desirable learning spaces. The main floor features a variety of seating styles that allow students to decide what type of social interaction they seek. The area features group work booths, an 8-seat modular lounge for study groups, and 32 individual study tables.

Library Space

The main floor of the library also features 15 desktop PCs connected to two black & white and one color printer. A multimedia area is also available for educational and entertainment DVDs.The lower level of the library houses the bulk of the library's 50,000 volume collection covering every subject offered by Berkeley College.   Students can also work in groups or individually using one of the study tables in the lower level. The lower level houses the print collection in a high-density mobile shelving system with additional study table seating, a look-up station, a self-check-out kiosk, and a printer. Berkeley students, staff, and faculty have use of all resources available in the library. Your Berkeley ID card is also your library card and must be presented to check out materials.

Wireless connections are also available, allowing each student the flexibility and convenience to do assignments anywhere.

Print Collection

The main door of the second floor of the library opens to a sunny modular seating area for reading the latest fiction novel or browsing a magazine on a wide variety of topics.
