Students who attain high academic achievement at Berkeley College may join a variety of honor societies in recognition of their accomplishment. Eligible students are invited to Berkeley College’s chapters of the following academic honor societies each January based on their grades and transcripts at the close of the fall semester:
Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, recognizes the scholarly achievements of students enrolled in Baccalaureate level Criminal Justice programs.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 36 earned semester credits toward completion of the Bachelor Degree program in Justice Studies – Criminal Justice.
- A minimum of 4 courses in the above coursework must be in the criminal justice field (coded as Justice Studies classes).
- Rank in the top 35 % of class after the completion of the fall semester; however, Cumulative GPA cannot be lower than 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Minimum 3.2 Cumulative Major GPA or higher (calculated using grades for all Justice Studies classes completed)
- Must be a current degree candidate for the following program at the time of induction in the winter semester:
- Bachelor of Science Degree program in Justice Studies – Criminal Justice
Alpha Sigma Lambda recognizes the academic achievements of adult students enrolled in Baccalaureate and Associate level programs.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have been admitted through Adult Admissions
- Minimum of 24 earned semester credits from Berkeley College
- Minimum of 12 earned semester credits should be in courses in Liberal Arts/Sciences, not including applied Arts/Sciences courses.
- Must be in top 20% of class after completion of the fall semester; however, Cumulative GPA cannot be lower than 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Must be a current degree candidate for one of the following programs at the time of induction in the winter semester:
- Any Bachelor of Business Administration program
- Any Bachelor of Science program
- Any Bachelor of Fine Arts program
- Any Associate Degree program 
The Financial Management Association National Honor Society recognizes the achievement of students enrolled in Baccalaureate level finance and accounting programs.
