MGT 3350: Small Business Management

Since its founding on July 30, 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration has delivered millions of loans, contracts, counseling sessions and other forms of assistance to small businesses through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations.

A network of Women’s Business Centers (WBCs) throughout the United States and its territories. The WBCs provide training and counselilng to entrepreneurs, especially women who are economically or socially disadvantaged.

SB/SE serves taxpayers who file Form 1040, Schedules C, E, F or Form 2106, as well as small businesses with assets under $10 million.

The New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBC) is composed of the headquarters located at Rutgers Business School - Newark and New Brunswick, and 11, full-service, regional centers, and an additional 27 affiliate (or satellite) offices located throughout the state. Each center provides a variety of educational and business resources to help small business owners finance, market and manage their companies.

Through a network of 24 regional centers, the New York State Small Business Development Center delivers high quality business counseling and training to New Yorkers who want to start a business or improve the performance of an existing business.
