Final Paper Details
You are to include the following:
1. Introduce the case
2. Identify the central ethical question
3. Present your position (Your position will not be discussed as part of your presentation since you are introducing the topic to the rest of the class.)
a. Provide two to three reasons for your viewpoint.
b. Your analysis will include a clear and detailed understanding of the facts of a case.
4. Explain how others may have different points of views
a. Provide two to three reasons for each of the opposing viewpoints.
5. Explain one to two ethical principles associated with the controversial topic.
a. If no ethical principles are associated with it, the presenter should include cases outside the eText that demonstrates the ethical dilemma.
6. Summary
References and Citations
Researching the topic or case is necessary. A minimum of five credible resources is mandatory in your investigation of the controversial topic. The works cited should be in APA format. Formatting help is located under the left side navigation tab in Writing and Citing. Helpful print and online books are also listed on the left.
If the presenter introduces a specific fact not contained in the case, the team should cite the source (e.g. "According to a 2011 article in the National Geographic...").
