National Disability Awareness Month event, Removing Barriers: Getting a Job Against the Odds. Career Services and Accessibility Services have convened a panel of individuals who work with people who have been incarcerated and/or have substance use disorders obtain jobs. The panel features 2016 Berkeley graduate and Criminal Justice major, Valaida Hall.
The speakers are Valaida Hall, '16 (Reentry Services Coordinator, Paterson Reentry Assistance Program), Helena Muhammad (Facility Director-Passaic County, New Jersey Reentry Corporation), and William Parker (Peer Recovery Specialist, CarePlus New Jersey).
