Vets4Warriors is a toll free peer support line at 1-855-838-8255 (1-855-VET-TALK). Housed at the Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care National Call Center in NJ, it is a one-of-a-kind 24/7 peer support network. They are committed to ensuring that all veterans, service members, their families, and caregivers always have direct and immediate access to a peer who understands their life experiences and the challenges they face, and can provide support whenever they confront an issue, wherever they are in the world.The counselors are available to talk or they will work with the caller to obtain support in their local communities for issues that require specific expertise, such as financial counseling, legal advice or medical services. Regardless of the complexity of the issue, or how long it takes, they will continue to follow up, and pursue different options until an answer is found.

Operation Homefront (OH) provides short-term Critical Financial Assistance for food, utilities, home repairs, rent/mortgage payments, etc., plus other longer-term assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors.

This is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping combat veterans transition back to civilian life while living with the effects of Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury and other combat related disabilities, Oftentimes that help is a highly skilled and trained service dog, a "Battle Buddy", which can be life-saving. It's mission is assisting veterans of all eras in the acquisition of service dogs at no cost to the veteran, while providing a network of peer support and activity, and promoting education and awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), the current veteran suicide epidemic.

Jericho Project provides a holistic solution to homelessness in NYC including safe housing, a vibrant community, and an environment rich in supportive services. Their Veterans Initiative (comprised of housing, employment and supportive services) provides nearly 700 veterans with homes and the support they need to heal from the wounds of war and reclaim their civilian lives with dignity and hope.

The HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program combines Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance for homeless veterans with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA).

Compensated Work Therapy (CWT) is a Veterans Health Administration (VHA) clinical vocational rehabilitation program offered at every VA medical center. CWT services provide support to Veterans living with mental illness or physical impairment, to help overcome barriers to working and secure and maintain competitive employment.
