Stablish Documents

The first step of career searching begins with attaining documents for verification. To aide you in securing a position, your career counselor will need the following from you:

  • Employment Assistance Application (EAA). The EAA is a file to document your current employment status. It is proof to provide to your career counselor if you are in need of assistance in securing a career position.
    • Even if you are NOT seeking assistance from Career Services, please complete the EAA form. Upon completion, your career counselor will no longer contact you until you make the initial contact in the future.
  • Updated and completed resume. While you may have completed your resume for your internship, it is important that your resume is up to date. Your resume is the first impression that can make or break your chances of getting a job. If you are unsure of how to craft your resume, send a copy to your career counselor and let them help you in perfecting your resume. In addition, you can create a free resume using resumecompanion.com (link below).
    • *Please note that your resume must be saved in a Microsoft Word or Word document form (.doc or docx.). This is to ensure that there are no complications for when your career counselor opens the document for review.
