In November and early December, Cara and I did a Forward-Thinking Teaching session on Supporting Students in the Writing Process. If you missed that session, you can view it in 🖱️Microsoft Stream. If you'd like to complete the badge for that session as part of your professional learning, you can 🖱️self-enroll and access the course in Canvas and respond to the discussion connected with the Writing Process session in the Forward-Thinking Teaching Canvas course.

Bite-Sized PD: Turnitin Draft Assignments

Bite-sized PDIn the Bite-Sized PD session below, we build on the ideas we shared in the writing process session linked above. You will learn how to set up a Canvas Turnitin assignment so students can check drafts of their work against the Turnitin Similarity Checker and Grammar Checker. Adding this strategy to the assessment process can help students check their writing throughout the writing process instead of waiting until they have completely finished their initial draft.
